According to World Health Organisation all the potentially infectious clinical waste must be sorted, collected, treated and then removed from the production site.

Sterigerms® first uses a 150° C neutralisation cycle to disinfect the medical waste. Once this cycle is over, the clinical waste no longer poses any danger to either humans or the environment. Once it is inactive it can then be collected along with household waste.

This means that the facility will no longer have to supervise all stages of the production of the waste, regardless of location, whether or not it is mobile, at the same time affording protection to the people there.

Protecting people is still one of the most important parts of the company’s aims and values, and in order to do this, Sterigerms® solutions offer controlled safety because they allow any infectious agents to be rendered inert, using a system of compression and neutralisation at a temperature of 150°.

The machines are compact and ergonomic, can be installed very quickly and can easily be moved using a roller system. Powering them on requires no more than a 220V mains socket, and they are not energy-hungry as their power consumption is only 3kw/h.

These solutions also fulfil two functions which are essential to increased autonomy – reducing volume of medical waste by more than 80 and the ability to turn it to household waste (due to the neutralisation of the infectious agents). This means you can avoid any additional storage, saving you both time and space.
